Every body is different, and fight gear only protects you when it fits. This page collects the sizing guidance for every Phoenix Fight Gear product line in one place. Each product page also carries its own size chart — when in doubt, the chart on the product page for the exact item you're buying is the final word.
BJJ Gi Sizing
Our Talon BJJ Gis run A0–A6 for adults and M00–M3 for kids. One thing that makes sizing a Talon gi simpler than most: every gi is pre-washed, so the size you buy is the size you keep — you don't need to buy up a size and shrink it to fit, the way many gi brands require. Match your height and weight to the chart below and choose the size where both land; if you're between sizes, most grapplers prefer the larger size in the jacket for competition grips.

Belt Sizing
BJJ belts run A0–A7 for adults and M00–M3 for kids — as a starting point, match your belt size to your gi size. Martial arts belts for karate and taekwondo run 000–12; your school will usually tell you the size its students wear, and the chart on each belt's product page maps sizes to waist measurements. A properly tied belt should leave roughly 6–8 inches hanging on each side of the knot.
Boxing Glove Sizing (oz)
Boxing gloves are sized by weight in ounces, and the right weight depends on what you're doing more than how big you are. The general guidance most coaches give: 10–12 oz for bag work and pad rounds, 14 oz for lighter training and smaller adults, and 16 oz for sparring — many gyms require 16 oz sparring gloves regardless of your size, so check your gym's rules first. Our Flight Boxing Gloves come in 10–18 oz. For young boxers, Kids Champion Boxing Gloves come in 4, 6 and 8 oz — smaller and lighter for smaller hands.
Headgear
Flight headgear comes in S–XL, sized by head circumference — measure around your head about an inch above your eyebrows, where a hat brim would sit. Kids Champion headgear runs youth S–L.

Shin Guards
Flight leather shin guards run S–XXL and the slip-on Sustain shin guards run XS–XXL; sizing follows your height and the length of your shin from just below the knee to the top of the foot. Kids Champion shin guards run youth XS–XL.

Kids Sparring Gear
The Kids Champion range — headgear, gloves, chest and belly protectors, and shin guards — is sized for young martial artists, generally youth XS/XXS through L/XL depending on the item. Each product page carries a youth-specific chart; two examples below. If your child is between sizes, protective gear should err snug rather than loose, since gear that shifts during sparring doesn't protect.

Shorts & Apparel
Muay Thai shorts are traditionally worn shorter and wider than gym shorts — they run men's S–XXL, ladies S–XL and kids S–L, sized by waist. Rash guards are compression fit: size for a snug, second-skin feel, and size up only if you prefer a looser training fit. Tees and hoodies are standard athletic-cut sizing, S–XXL on most styles.
